Intro
We joined 67 days before election day. The candidate was the frontrunner, but frontrunners lose when they fly blind in the final stretch. Our mandate: give the campaign eyes, and make sure every vote it earned was counted.
In just over nine weeks we stood up four operational centers. Analytics: real-time polling with 6 short surveys, 2 flash surveys and a rolling cross-section delivering two reports a day in the final ten days decisions, not data dumps. Communications: a media monitoring room operational within 48 hours, with the client’s team trained to autonomy. Diaspora: 10 country-specific landing pages for 1.7 million overseas voters, 13,055 supporter-voters datafied, and a social filter generating 484,000 impressions. Vote protection: an independent results dashboard built from scratch two weeks out and a back-up field app deployed one week out swappable within minutes; serving 39,939 field volunteers, 175 encoders, 17 verifiers and 17 QA officers, reconciled against the official transparency server in real time.
